out of the mouth of babes...

Yesterday I burped. I guess it was pretty loud, but in my defense...I did say 'excuse me.'

Instead of saying I was excused, Cale asked: "Mommy, did you burp out one of the babies?"

Today, as we were sitting down to lunch, Cale started going on and on about how he needed to feed Colosse...how he wanted me to help him find more bugs...that he wanted a vitamin...Ppplllleeeeassee Mommy! I need to do it right now!

I said "Cale, Mommy is NOT going to jump up every time you say you need something or you want me to do something...you need to be patient! Do you remember what patience is?"

to which he replied: "Oh yeah, patience. I do patience all day long."
if only that were true...
